Join us for a unique cross-training seminar bringing together Japanese Karate, Filipino Martial Arts (FMA), and Chinese Hung Gar Kung Fu in a collaborative learning-enriched environment focused on practical skill, shared principles, and community connection.
This seminar is designed to explore how different martial arts approach the same combative challenges - distance, timing, structure, flow, and control - and how these systems naturally complement one another.
Rather than comparing styles, the focus is on understanding core principles that apply across disciplines and experiencing how skills transfer between long range, weapons awareness, and close-quarter power.
What to Expect
Rotational workshops led by experienced instructors
Structured striking and body mechanics (Karate)
Weapons awareness, coordination, and flow (Eskrima)
Rooted stances, conditioning, and close-range power (Hung Gar)
Integrated training showing how the three systems connect
A respectful, ego-free learning environment
WHO IS IT FOR - ages 13+
Martial artists of all styles and experience levels
Beginners curious about cross-training
Advanced students looking to refine principles
Anyone interested in functional self-protection
All drills are scalable, with safety and inclusivity as priorities.
More than just a seminar, this event represents a shift toward cooperation over comparison. It is an opportunity to train beyond stylistic boundaries while strengthening the local martial arts community.
