Young Adult Karate...
Our sensei has a passion for youth development and the combat arts. Our 60 minute Young Adult Karate classes are taught in a more disciplined environment, and emphasise self-development and self-defence rather than competition. This program is about enhancing social engagement, promoting positive relationships and developing good mental and physical health.
Classes include
meditative breathing exercises (designed to calm the mind, increase respiratory function and awareness, and cultivate positive energy),
combat art orientated aerobic drills (designed to increase flexibility, condition muscular strength and endurance, correct postural deficiencies and improve our cardiovascular system),
loads of paired/group activities (that promote trust, respect and positive social behaviour)
