beach training bday bash!
We’re HITTING the beach for a SENSEI-tional birthday bash training sesh and would love to see you there. Everyone is invited to our celebration. Our program includes some great activities, such as:
workout in the park
games on the sand
throws and takedowns in the water - in full uniform!
fresh fruit morning tea and maybe CAKE!
optional post-training social swim (between the flags)
To avoid strong UV rays and high temperatures, this will be a morning training event.

Time: 845AM meet, 9-10AM training, 10-1030 morning tea, swim and social
Location!: Peregian Main Beach. Meet and warm up in the park area (you’ll see us and our flag).
Cost: $20 cash on the day, or we can invoice you after the event +GST
What you need to bring?
karate uniform
hat
sunscreen
bathers/swimmers
water bottle
towel
the expectation that you’ll get wet and have a sweet time

This event is exclusive to current members only.
This event is OPEN TO ALL STUDENTS.
As a part of this event, your child will be in shallow water. Parents or guardians (PG) of students under 10 years old will need to be IN THE WATER supporting their child’s experience. PG’s of students under 15 will need to be on the beach watching. More eyes and hands = more safety.
Post-event social swim is at participant and parent discretion and is not a part of the official, supervised karate event. Swimming is recommended between the flags supervised by the SLSC.
In the event of severe weather or storms, the event may be cancelled. I mean, training in the water while lightning is cracking around us sounds epic, but probably isn't wise.
In the event of rain, we will still be training - you are going to get WET anyway.
