We’re HITTING the beach for the last time in 2023 and would love to see you there. Our program includes some great activities, such as:
workout in the park
games on the sand
throws and takedowns in the water
fresh fruit morning tea
optional post-training social swim (between the flags)
To avoid strong UV rays and high temperatures, this will be a morning training event.
No PIER pressure, but you should definitely come along. If you can’t train, at least come past and WAVE!

Time: 845AM meet, 9-10AM training, 10-1030 morning tea, swim and social
Location!: Peregian Main Beach. Meet and warm up in the park area (you’ll see us and our flag).
Cost: $25 cash on the day or we will invoice you after the event +GST
What you need to bring?
karate uniform
hat
sunscreen
bathers/swimmers
water bottle
towel
the expectation that you’ll get wet and have a sweet time

This event is exclusive to current members only.
This event is aimed at Junior program students and above (8 years old and above) but if your child is a strong swimmer and you will be with them in the water, talk to us and we will make it happen.
As a part of this event, your child will be in shallow water. Parents of students under 12 years old will need to be IN THE WATER supporting their child’s experience. More eyes and hands = more safety.
Post-event social swim is at participant and parent discretion and is not a part of the supervised karate event. Swimming is recommended between the flags supervised by the SLSC.
In the event of severe weather or storms, the event may be cancelled. I mean, training in the water while lightning is cracking around us sounds epic, but probably isn't wise.
In the event of rain, we will still be training - you are going to get WET anyway.
If minimum numbers requirements aren't met, the event may be cancelled.
