This workshop is an explorative deep dive into our dojo’s version of the classical Goju Ryu form, SAIFA, and looks at functional self-defence against various strikes and restraints.
Home-school Karate COMING TO EUMUNDI TERM 2…
We have proudly been providing after-school Karate classes in Eumundi for over 5 years and are now pleased to announce the launch of our daytime Home-schooling Karate program.
Starting this week and continuing to the term's end, we are providing young adults the option of an additional 30 minutes of class focusing on forms (kata) relative to each coloured belt level
This workshop is an explorative deep dive into the origins and functions of this martial and healing form known as TENSHO - the Rotating Palms.
5 years ago, we introduced Eumundi to our unique combat and healing art.
Half a decade on, we can proudly say how blessed we are to continue supporting our local community.

Karate Community is excited to host Kris Cook AKA Cooky for an exciting BJJ workshop. Kris has been studying the grappling arts for well over a decade.
This introduction into grappling includes:
- Hip escape or shrimping
- basic arm drag
- Arm bar
- Triangle choke
and ends with an "open mat" (invitation to safely roll with our presenter to feel the effectiveness of the system).
